Victoria Garcia is a interdisciplinary artist who’s main focus is photography but also does work in ceramics and sculpture. She was born and raised in Oak Cliff, Texas by an immigrant Mexican family with big dreams and lots of ambition. Victoria first discovered her passion for photography in high school at Greenhill School, and has been pursuing art ever since. Her work tends to focus on sociopolitical aspects of her community, specifically Mexican culture and the first generation experience. Currently she is a student at Southern Methodist University pursuing a Studio Art BFA.
